To stop bloodshed we need to change the ideology that causes the bloodshed! This ideology goes back to the time when humankind lived in the caves. When men going hunting observed the wolfpack, learned of the Alpha male, and the philosophy of the Alpha-Male Leadership was born. The Alpha-Male Leadership philosophy became the predominant philosophy of leadership in man, when he observed the Alpha male, the leader in the front of the wolfpack punish any other male who attempted to lead. The Alpha wolf leader would hurt, sabotage, or kill the other males who dared to challenge his leadership, in order to maintain its position of superiority, and its position of power in the place of leadership in the pack. This was the philosophy of leadership that humankind adopted since the caveman times. At that time, they most likely fought over land that was most fertile, and the land which had the best hunting grounds, except, these feuds among them were fought using rocks, sticks, and sharpened stone heads, instead of guns, tanks, and rockets. The same philosophy of leadership prevails today. Today mankind follows the philosophy of the wolfpack. Alpha male type character could be the person who is the candidate for president, or the top student of the class competing to prove his dominance over the others. After millennia, it is still that competitive philosophy of the survival of the fittest through sheer force and aggressive competition that is the dominant leadership philosophy among the humankind. Unbelievable enough, millennia later, still today, the countries fight to prove their dominance. People still fight over land. However, the fights are becoming more and more aggressive. The wars that we have seen in the history of humanity, where they started with rocks and sticks, have progressively gotten worse over the millennia and today, we are witnessing the frequent use of rockets, drones, bombs, and the threats of atomic warheads. Humankind is more than capable of annihilating humanity and every living thing, and perhaps destroying the planet itself!

Although at first glance it may seem so, what is about to annihilate humanity, and destroy everything that we know of is not the difference of religions. Nor is it economic motives, nor love of land. It is the wrong ideology of leadership, namely the Alpha Wolf Philosophy of Leadership.
What will eventually lead to World War Three, and to Annihilation of human kind is our faulty leadership philosophy that requires the Alpha leader to be at the top, and win at the expense of all the others who lose. This win-lose philosophy of constant and never ending competition and struggle of wills against each other has resulted in a severe polarity among nations that is about to explode out of control, sending us all into oblivion!
So, what is the solution? It is time for a shift in this barbaric, human-cave-era, Alpha Wolf Pack philosophy. It is time to put an end to this win-lose philosophy that has pitted the mankind against one another for millennia.
It is time for a more win-win; love your neighbor as yourself; live and let live, spiritual type of philosophy!! A philosophy where no one is allowed to terrorize, overpower, bully, hurt or disrespect the other, nor deprive him/her of his/her human rights!
Where a leader cares for all the members of the society, children, men and women, regardless of their color, religion, or their individual customs. Where as long as individuals are not harming each other, they are left to live their lives in their own preferred manner. I call this the Lion Pride Leadership Philosophy. This is a leadership philosophy very similar to that of the Cyrus the Great, the king of the Persian Empire. Under Cyrus’s leadership, the greatest empire of the world was formed following this same philosophy, respecting the equality of human rights. Isn’t it time we stop our barbaric, power-trip oriented, world destructive, violent behaviors which are based on the Alpha Wolf philosophy and unanimously adopt the Cyrus the Great style of Leadership?
